Brad Hampton - new tracks up!

About Me

Kook Show and I are writing and recording 2 songs right now and they are sounding awsome and coming together very well! Very stoked on these ones! I also asked Brandon Fauteux from 'Kook Show' to come and record drums on 4 of my tracks at Silohuette Studios in my house. The first 4 songs on the list are the tracks featuring his drumming! I hope to do another 4 really soon!!

Bio:

Brad has loved music for as long as he can remember... apparently clapping and dancing around to the sound of the dishwasher and dryer when he was 2. Anyone who has grown up in a small town knows that you aren't exposed to many things to find out what your abilities are, so Brad went threw most of childhood and teenage years loving how music sounded, but not really playing an instrument other than the occasional elementary organ class.Near the end of grade 12 in 1994, he found an information book on a school in Burnaby BC called Institute of Communication Arts, which turned into CDIS (Center for Digital Imaging and Sound) and is now known as The Art Institute. After attending CDIS for the Recording Arts Masters Program, he got a great job as a server at the Bread Garden restaurant... realizing that this had nothing to do with a career move, he tried really hard and got a job as a runner at Hipposonic Studios in 1998 in Vancouver BC. He moved up to assistant engineer after a little while and got to work on projects with some excellent people including Mike Plotnikoff, GGGarth Richardson, John Webster, and much more. Rob Darch (Hipposonic Owner) was a great guy to work for and Brad gained life experience from being there that he will never forget!Brad moved to Kamloops BC with a new baby at the time in 2000 and worked at Small World Studios with Henry Small (Prism/Jon Entwistle Band) for 5 years as an engineer and once again had a great time working with many talented musicians.Brad took a break from music in 2004 for a career change and now works most of the year as a surveyor for LNB Construction, building roads, subdivisions, and mostly everything else. With the boom in the economy, this was a very good job to get into at the time. The hard work turned into money, which lead to being able to slowly buy recording equipment at home. Now there is Silohuette Studios where he is recording and mixing his own material and mixing other artists in top friends. Please enjoy!!!
