MARK DOYLE:
Mark Doyle is the main man behind Fierce Angel Records. The compiler of the CDs, A&R for the record label and headline DJ at the events across the world. His phenomenal career all started back in 1999 when he created Hed Kandi and developed the brand as a lifestyle concept, incorporating a record label, a radio show and international club nights that stimulated all the senses. During Mark's tenure, Hed Kandi sold over five million albums worldwide and his unique A&R and marketing vision helped them deliver a string of Top 40 singles and significant artist album sales as he developed an artist roster. In addition, he developed a career as a radio DJ, creating the weekly Hed Kandi Radio Show broadcast onJAZZFM/Smooth FM and the Galaxy network in the UK and through syndications around the world.
ERIC KUPPER
: Eric Kupper got his start in dance music over fifteen years ago, while working as a keyboardist and guitarist. In 1992, Eric co-produced 'The Whistle Song' with Frankie Knuckles and has gone on to work with Francois Kevorkian, Saint Etienne, Crystal Waters, Billie Ray Martin, Mariah Carey, Robert Owens, Alison Limerick, Madonna, Seal, Jamiroquai, Depeche Mode and many, many others. He was, of course, also a member of Degrees of Motion, which spawned such classics as 'Shine On' and 'Do You Want It Right Now'. Eric has played on, remixed and/or produced over 1,400 records for artists spanning all contemporary musical genres and is one of the world's most sought after producers / remixers / musicians in the world. Throughout his career as a famous producer, Eric has found time to continue his DJ work in some of the most exciting clubs in the world. Eric was originally one of the first five resident DJs employed by Hed Kandi and we are honoured to have him on the Fierce Angels team.
MARTIN WRIGHT
: Martin Wright is a very experienced DJ indeed. He has ruled the school in the Midlands for some time, with residencies at Moneypenny's, Fuel, Promise, Spin and Blend. He has also, like the other Fierce Angel DJ team members, played worldwide; Ibiza, Colombia and Miami to name just a few countries that have experienced his sexy vocal house style. Martin is not only a great DJ, but a fantastic ambassador for the brand. He is also Music Editor and resident DJ for 69 Magazine, a credible Midlands lifestyle publication. Dedicated to mentoring others and evolving his own skills, as DJ tutor for the DJ Academy you will also find him hosting courses up and down the UK over the coming year. Joining forces with Timmy Vega$ (one half of Soul Central) led to the release of three tracks at the Miami Winter Music Conference 2005 under the guise of Disco Lunatics. Prepare yourself for a party when Martin appears at Fierce Angel parties across the land.
STEVE SIMPSON
: Hailing from Belfast, Steve prides himself on being at the forefront of contemporary house music, while not neglecting the unforgettable classics. With such an immense portfolio it is not surprising that he is now emerging as a firm feature in the UK club scene, having provided a familiar face at Digital in Newcastle in 2006. Currently holding residencies at Belfast's most prolific venues, he has proved a legendary performer with the unique ability to appeal to the masses, showing the same comfort in performing intimate gigs as showcasing his talent before the eyes of over 15,000 at this years legendary Planet Love Festival. Now being groomed under the wing of the Fierce Angel team, he is looking forward to being a welcome addition to an already dynamic family. Oh yeah!
BEN SANTIAGO
: Ben Santiago is our Fierce Ibiza Resident. As a native Londoner, Ben grew up listening to the pirate radio stations, dreaming of becoming a DJ. As the house scene exploded he became a regular on the rave scene, and knew that he too had to get in on the act. And where better to do that than the spiritual home of house - Ibiza. In 2006 it was time for the first Fierce Ibiza season & Ben was recommended to us by Jason Bull, owner of Hotel Es Vive. He is a very talented DJ, who has played at such legendary Ibiza clubs as Privelidge (Manumisson), Es Paradis, Judgement Sundays & Heaven, and has worked tirelessly to promote the Fierce name in Ibiza. He is now a full time resident in Ibiza but we jump at the chance of bringing him over to the UK out of season.
IAIN THOMPSON
: Iain has been a prominent member of the UK house scene for over a decade, combining a busy DJ diary with residencies in his home city of Glasgow. He is a regular member of the UK DJ circuit, playing out at many of the UK's cooler parties, which is where he caught the eye of Fierce Angel. Internationally, Iain has been clocking up the air miles; with appearances in Miami's Opium Garden, New York's legendary Cielo club, Zinc club in Dubai, Rynda Party in Moscow, Attica in Singapore, and Tank Sydney. As assistant editor of M8 magazine he combines his talent for writing with his passion for the dance music scene. He has also been in the studio, producing under the 'Randall and Hopkirk' pseudonym on Glasgow's Bomba Record label. Fierce Angel welcomed Iain to the team upon it's inception, and he has been proudly leading the Fierce Scottish Contingent ever since!
AVALON SUPERSTAR - RITA CAMPBELL
: Rita was featured on many chart climbing tracks in 2007 including; STONEBRIDGE'S new album 'Music Takes Me' on 'A Love Thing' and co-writing other tracks, AVALON SUPERSTAR 'So Alive' released on Groove Factory Records and on a cover version of Delerium's 'In this Silence' produced by PAUL EMANUEL (Haji & Emanuel). She’ll also be teaming up with 'THE DIRTY LITTLE FUNKERS' on their UK & World Club tour dates performing alongside their resident DJs, PAUL DUNNE, PAUL KERSHAW (Galaxy FM), ANDY GALEA (Soul Seekerz), KARL G, and TRISTAN D.
