CHRIS MOORE: Chris was born / raised in Arcadia, CA and played his first professional show at the world-famous Whisky A Go-Go with Rampage at the age of 15. As a senior in high school, Chris joined the band V.V.S.I., which was soon voted “Pick of the Players” in Music Connection magazine. V.V.S.I. became a premier act in the Los Angeles area, selling out venues like The Roxy Theatre and The Troubadour. Chris became a favorite in the local club scene with a jaw-dropping drum solo that he did BLINDFOLDED. At the age of 19, Chris left the music scene and went to college, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University. However, all this time, the music was calling to him. It wouldn’t let up! In October of 2003, he joined Los Angeles-based Str8shot and recorded a cd (“Born To Drive”) - cutting 18 drum tracks in just 2 days. In mid-2005, Chris joined forces with bandmate and close friend from Str8shot, Rich Gonzales (Diesel Machine) in a project called American Aftermath. During 2005 & 2006, Chris also played with Los Angeles-based ORCUS, recording a cd (“Birth”) and turning out blistering sets at The Whisky, Troubadour, Key Club, and House of Blues. In September of 2006, Chris was asked to join Deathriders, fronted by original Anthrax vocalist, Neil Turbin (“Fistful of Metal”). He is currently drumming with Deathriders and playing shows with American Aftermath , 80’s thrash phenoms Bloodlust, and John Lisi & Delta Funk. Most recently, Chris recorded 15 drum tracks for the upcoming Deathriders debut cd “Back With A Vengeance” due in 2008. Look for Deathriders tours in 2008 in Japan, Texas, and California.
