Chase Fowler was born and raised in South Carolina. While he was at home in the South, he always knew his true home was on the stage. Chase enjoyed participating and performing in school and other local talent competitions throughout the Upstate.
Wanting to broaden his horizons, he decided to register for the American Talent Showcase. At this convention, Chase was given the opportunity to try his hand at singing, dancing, acting, and modeling. Much to his surprise and satisfaction, he was named ATS’s Entertainer of the Year.
For the next couple of years, Chase traveled with a performing group called the “Legends Live.” The “Legends” tore up the Upstate, setting stages ablaze with their own takes on Motown classics.
In between “Legends” performances, Chase found himself singing the opening number for the Miss South Carolina Pageant. He has sung the National Anthem for the Charlotte Checkers and was also cast as a featured extra in an episode of the Dave Chappelle Show.
As Chase continued to perform, he found himself signing a recording deal with Christian Dio, a producer out of Orlando, Florida. Originally signed on as a member of the experimental boy band UNITED, Dio wanted to give Chase the opportunity to fly solo. Chase continued to work in the studio and turned out the exclusive MySpace single “False Hope."
In August of 2007, Chase set his sights on American Idol. While he didn't make it to Hollywood Week, his first time auditioning for Idol was not in vain. He made it through four rounds of preliminary auditions and gained new insights into the American Idol process.
The summer of 2008 found Chase back in the studio, this time at Revolver Studios out of Inman, South Carolina. In August 2008, 4 new cover songs made their way to MySpace and straight into the ears of fans and listeners. The new cover songs included "Leavin'," "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This," "Disturbia," and "Bleeding Love."
Recently graduated and fresh out of high school, Chase continues to perform whenever and wherever possible. Searching out this 19-year-old star on the rise? Just find the nearest spotlight!
