Lori Corell Grassman is an artist based in Frisco, Texas. She has 5 daughters(Jennifer,Kaitlin,Lindsay,Michaella, and Natalie), 4 cats (Elizabeth and Jane Bennet,Caledonia, Lord Peter Wimsey), a spoiled cockatoo (Moses), a large iguana(Jamaica), a hamster (Tristin) and a one-eyed grackle (Elijah). She enjoys reading, writing, ceramics, and gardening. Her art ranges in medium from ceramics to oil on canvas. Her most recent project is a series of comical garden gnomes styled to look like real people ... think President Bush, John Lennon, Hilary Clinton, your Mother-in-Law, etc. She calls it The Human G-Nome Project, and accepts custom orders (if you can supply several photos).
Lori is the daughter of realist painter Loren Corell who is based in St. Louis, Missouri. She has been drawing and painting since her early teenage years, and only recently branched out into sculpture and ceramics.
