My Grandad first plonked me in front of a piano when I was 5yrs old. He tried to teach me chords but I was only interested in the sound of the Basss notes...boOM! He went on to buy me a violin, eek! Mum saved me with an acoustic guitar, phew! and PUNK rescued me from a dreary 80's Thatcherite Britain, yuk! Played in a few anarcho bands throughout my teens, BTF being one of 'em. Supported UK Subs, Dirt and Subhumans among others. Travelled and went to lots of free festivals. Hooked up with Radical Dance Faction (RDF) Established Earthzone Records and ended up hitting No.1 on the Indie charts! Good times, bad times, sometimes mad times!?* Punk exposes problems. REGGAE offers solutions...the WORD is with the Rastaman. The education is life, I study the Bass. Release material and tour with Freedom Fighter and Freedom AKA. Establish Freedom Sound Promotions and spend 7yrs installed at Enzos nightclub pushing a whole heap of artists...too many to mention! DJ wise I've held residence in Salisbury & Bournemouth, played Europe, The Middle East and quite a few festivals (inc:Glastonbury) Form a DUB band UK Players. Meet InI Oneness. Further 7" (33rpm). The legendary John Peel started playing it at the wrong speed...Classic! Lots of gigs and tours of UK & Europe. Supported many great names along the way inc: Junior Delgado and Jah shaka. Involved in various digital collaborations, the most notable of which is Brothers of Dub. A fusion of HOUSE & dub. Also, currently working with my best friend Paul Enzo and Laura Jenkins on some chilled out acoustic stuff. Playing live with The Dub Educators and building dubs in the studio (watch this (I) space!)
