Rocky Start Animal Rescue

About Me

Rocky Start Animal Rescue is a group of volunteer animal lovers whose mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected animals. Whenever possible we also assist companion animals who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. All companion animals of Rocky Start Animal Rescue are housed in foster homes where they are provided with an enormous amount of love and any medical attention that may be required to insure that they are in good health before adoption. They are all spayed or neutered and brought up-to-date on shots before being placed in their new homes. When time permits, our dogs are also housetrained and taught basic obedience. All companion animals of Rocky Start Animal Rescue are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners. Our Vision is to see a day when there are no longer any homeless, abused, or neglected companion animals. A day when the suffering endured by thousands of companion animals in America cease Get a Cursor! This is Freckles...She is around 12 weeks old as of Nov. 16th.
