Hello Youngstown! You might have been waiting for us for awhile, but now we're finally here. An organization that's bringing art, ideas and people to downtown. You bet we're excited to be here!
FUTURE GOALS:
1. Community Outreach: "Making art accessible to all."
2. Growth of cyber-virtual gallery so artists can sell their works internationally.
3. Draw artists from all around the country.
4. Non-traditional hours, open late & weekends.
5. Host yoga, dance, jewelry making classes... you name it!
6. Show independent films & eventually create an independent film festival.
7. Provide education through the arts for at-risk, inner-city kids.
8. Programs for children/adults with disabilities (e.g. autism).
9. Support groups that are therapy & art-based (e.g. for cancer patients, quit smoking).
10. Internships for university students.
11. Work with local museums.
12. Mentor/Apprenticeship programs for young future artists.
13. Cultural events to attract and hold people to Downtown Youngstown.
14. Provide working studio space for artists.
15. Start dance program for inner-city youth that performs throughout the season.
