Devotchka Lovers: El nombre salta a la mente cuando queríamos crear un concepto para la agrupación, su origen viene del lenguaje Nadsat empleado por Anthony Burgess para su novela “La Naranja Mecánica”.Es un nombre que dice muchas cosas , por un lado puedo decir que metafóricamente estamos enamorados de la misma chica, "Devotchka" (chica), Lovers (amantes); esa chica para mi puede ser la música, “somos amantes de la música”…La banda se reune en octubre del 2007 debido a que las circunstancias hacen coincidir a los integrantes de la misma.Esta banda surge del movimiento indepediente de los suburbios, en Coacalco, Estado de Mexico. Formada por miembros de varias bandas que ya son conocidas en el escenario mas local como "Proyecto Pánico Efímero","Shadowplay" y "Revolver 201". La intención es crear música solo por el gusto de hacerlo y transmitir la pasión que sentimos...
Devotchka Lovers: The name jumps to the mind when we wanted to find a name for the band, its origin comes from the language Nadsat used by Anthony Burgess for its novel “Orange Clockwork”. it is a name that says many things, on one hand I can say that metaphorically Devotchka for my it can be the music, “we are lovers of the music”… on the other hand we can see each other as in love of a girl…. With the miserable thing that this can be… The band meets in October of the 2007 because the circumstances bring near the members of the same one. This band arises of the movement indie of the suburbs, in Coacalco, state of Mexico. Formed by members of several bands that are already known in the scenario but local as Proyecto Panico Efímero,Shadowplay and to Revolver 201. The intention is to create music only for the pleasure of making it, hoping to obtain results of quality and to transmit the passion that we feel...
