All-original NY hard rock band TNA (The Noise Addiction) shot out of the gates in early 1987. Founders Danny Tore (drums) and Sean Tarr (guitar) along with Mike McManamon (lead vocals) began gigging and recording with a vengeance. For the next three years, TNA played relentlessly as direct support for over forty national acts including Skid Row, Winger, Warrant, King's X, LA Guns, Badlands, Kix and Dokken. The group enjoyed heavy rotation on many prominent college radio stations as well as extensive press coverage in RIP and Metal Edge Magazines.
After a hiatus during the 90's, early 2000 found Sean and Danny reforming the band, which led to two full-length releases on an independent label. The 21st century TNA featured the return of the core original line-up (Mike, Sean and Danny) with the addition of new bassist Doug Odell.
In 2001 FINGER ON THE TRIGGER bowed, encapsulating the best of the band's 80's and early 90's recordings. Making TRIGGER a snapshot for where TNA was headed, three brand new songs were recorded by producer Lez Warner (former drummer of the Cult).
In 2004, TNA released their 2nd full-length album, BRANDED. This modern-day classic was self-produced by the band and Grammy nominated engineer Alex Salzman. The album took their grit-and-polished hard rock spectacle to the next level. Following the release of BRANDED, individual members of TNA spent several years focused on various outside projects.
In 2008, TNA got back to the business of their legendary LIVE SHOWS sharing bills with Law & Order, Dokken, Kix and Trixter. For 2009, it promises to be an even more productive year, with more gigs, as well as writing and recording planned.
