sachem onedegodth has led several important bands over the years,the fusion groups power,beyond the concept,revelation,the trio from beyond,the funk/rock group blackadelica.he has opened for groups such as ,blues traveller,spin docters,soft parade,and ginger baker(from cream)he was also a founding member of the funk band nappyhead.sachem &rob met many years ago,jammed and vowed to join forces one day.about 22/23 yrs later they did.sachem was a member of bassist adam marrs band jass abstract which later became amaradillo.he wondered what would happen if he put rob & adam together as a rhythm section.it was explosive,very.the concept was to fuse mahavishnu and coltrane(john and alice).the band recorded its first cd called the inner mounting flame still burns.later bassist adam marr departed and was quickly replaced by chester french who had played with sachem in the trio from beyond and infinity,the band recorded a 2nd cd called sanctified bliss which will be released soon.drummer bostick is getting ready to record his project the life cycle orchestra which will have input from and by sachem who will also play on the cd.sachem also played on bassist adam marrs cd with the band armarillo.sachem has also worked with amuka(shela brody)and gigged with george clinton.during the early 80's sachem played guitar in strafes band departing before set it off was recorded.
