Music, movies, my family, coffee, goin clubbin wit fiddy cent, you know, that's how I roll.......Again, my 16 year old. I do love music (all genre), movies, my family and coffee. Not neccessarily in that order. Some days I love my coffee first in order to better love my family. LOL My family means more to me than anything in the world - even caffiene.
awesome people
Seriously, I enjoy all kinds of music. My list of favorite groups/singers is quite diverse. Here's a sampling of what you could find me listening to at any given time...................ZZTop (they rock!), Foo Fighters, Van Halen (I like the Sammy Hagar days), The Beatles, Elvis, Barry Manilow, Allison Kraus, Jo Dee Messina, Trisha Yearwood, K.D. Lang, Martina McBride, Rooney, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow,.......etc...etc......etc.....Have I made my point? A short list of who you will NEVER find in my CD collection, Snoop Dogg, Marilyn Manson, 50 Cent (or anything that closely resembles any of their "music")
The Breakfast Club, Shag, Where the Heart Isand ANYTHING with John Travolta in it!Hey!, what do ya know! My kid really nailed this one. ALMOST anyting with J.T. - not everything. Some of my other faves would be Circle of Friends, The Notebook, Grease, The Pirate Movie (starring Kristy McNicol and Christopher Atkins), Pay It Forward, About A Boy, Four Weddings and a Funeral, REDS (Warren Beatty and Debra Winger - early 80s - soooo...good!), Somewhere in Time, Reality Bites, Great Balls of Fire, Elf,.....I could go on and on... I do LOVE the motion picture industry!!!
Nip/Tuck, Intervention (I'm addicted to that show!!!), Grey's Anatomy (I hope season 2 is as good as the first!), Desperate Housewives. I am no longer a closeted "reality" show addict. I openly admit that I am drawn to such train wrecks as Being Bobby Brown, Laguna Beach, Celebrity Fit Club, The Biggest Loser, etc....
Chick Lit: In Her Shoes, Good in Bed, Summer Sisters, etc. She knows me pretty well. I love to read when I have time - it's hard to come by these days. I also enjoy biographies/autobiographies, self-help lit. and inspirational books.
My totally awesome daughter Cassie...I bask in her coolness. Thanks Cassie! I do admire my dear Cassassie!!! There are many of her attributes I wish I had at her age. Although she is quite cool now, she has potential to be much cooler in the future. I thought I was the S*** when I was 16 too. I am SOOOOOO much cooler now. Honestly, I can't say I have A hero. There are several people in my life that I admire for many different reasons and in different ways.
