Many people say I am weird...I say I'm unique.

It doesn't take much to amuse me...I'm pretty simple that way.

I'm interested in just about everything and love to learn. I am always up for trying new things.

I love food, and am very fortunate in that I have a relatively high metabolism...otherwise I'd be about 300lbs.

I love kickboxing and I love yoga.

My cat, Sarah, who also goes by the names of Pumpkin, Pretty, Baby, and Fuzzface, is the prettiest cat in all the land.

I hope to join the Peace Corps.

I plan on saving the world...or at least contributing to saving the world.

I'm all about peace and love and the environment and equal rights....a modern-day hippie (minus the drugs of course!)

I love nature and being outside. I love animals and children.

I'm very easy to please and amuse....something as simple as looking at the stars, swinging on a swing, just watching the people go by, or driving around looking at Christmas lights could be the most enjoyable thing to me.

I also tend to be rather shy, and it takes awhile for me to talk to people I don't really know. So if you're interested in getting to know me, you should probably initiate the talking! :-P
I would also like to say that I hate rumors and I hate gossip. I try not to get involved in it myself, and I would appreciate it if people didn't involve me in it. Thanks.

My Interests

It has recently come to my attention that there is a horrible atrocity going on in Uganda. Children are being abducted in order to fight in the army. All these children want is to be able to get an education, something that so many people in this country take for granted. There are bracelets being sold .., which are made by the people of Uganda, and the money will go back to them. This gives them work, as well as going toward giving the children the education they so desire. If you would like more information, go to www.invisiblechildren.com

I'd like to meet:

It would also be nice to meet Ewan Mcgregor and Matthew Bellamy (lead singer of Muse, as well as guitar and piano player extraordinaire).

Includes, but not limited to: alternative, oldies, modern rock, classic rock, rap/hip-hop, R&B, blues, classical, irish/celtic, folk, indie...pretty much anything except country.I'm always looking for new and interesting music, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Movies:

Amelie, Austin Powers, Big Fish, Boondock Saints, Chocolat, Donnie Darko, Edward Scissorhands, Harry Potter movies, K-Pax, Labyrinth, Lord of the Ring movies, Meet Joe Black, Moulin Rouge, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Notebook, Phantom of the Opera, Pride and Prejudice, The Princess Bride, Star Wars (originals of course), A Very Long Engagement, Audrey Hepburn movies, Cary Grant movies, I can't really think of anymore, but there are a lot more.

Television:

I really don't watch much tv. I don't like reality shows...other than that, I can watch pretty much anything. I like Alias, American Dreams, Animal Planet, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, The Discovery Channel, Family Guy, Firefly, The History Channel, The Health Channel, Lost, Simpsons, and South Park, when I do watch it. I thoroughly enjoy watching surgeries as well.

Books:

I love to read! I like fiction, non-fiction, poetry, fantasy, pretty much anything and everything. And now that I'm done school I can finally start reading for fun! WOO HOOO! :-)

Heroes:

Anyone who has respect for others and their differences. Also, those who do what they can to help others, regardless of nationality, race/ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual preference. I also have a special soft spot for those who are against the death penalty, since there seem to be so few of us. Includes: Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., John Lennon, and Albert Einstein.
