About Me

Going to try and help bring the Ft. Wayne music scene to the front and let everyone know of the great musicians we have here. O.k. heres the deal. I'm trying to get the word out about local bands here in Ft. Wayne as you can tell. But I see very little of bands supporting each other. The final bands of the year have already been selected. So starting December 31st i will be chaning the way I select the featured band of the week. 1st. I will need a band bio. 2nd. Show Dates. 3rd. A Little about your stage shows. 4th. I will need to see this myspace page in your top friends list to know that your band supports other local musicians as well and to help get the word out. (it has nothing to do with me wanting to be in anyones top friends list, it is soley so more people will come to this site to see other bands.) 5th. I will need to see you not only promote yourselves in someway but, I want to see you promote other bands as well. Copy a bands flyer for a show they have coming up and make a bulletin out of it or at least send out a bulletin with the other bands name in it letting me people know something about their show they have coming up or anything to promote another band. It's not hard people, many of you have shown your appreciation towards me doing this to help support all local musicians and I'm grateful for the compliments at the same time i'm pleased to be doing this. But I also think local bands need to start supporting each other more than what they are currently doing. Also, one last thing if a production company is putting you on the bill for a show give them major props as well as if a photographer comes out to one of your shows and takes pictures of your band at least voice your appreciation. That's all I have for now.
