Hi! I'm 22 years old. I'm currently attending Notre Dame College in South Euclid,OH and am a junior. My major is Early Childhood Education. I'm a quiet , shy, but friendly girl. I'm an only child. I have a pet cat named Taffy. My family has hosted 4 foreign exchange students- a girl from Norway, Germany,Chile,and another one from Sweden coming in August. I love each and every one of them so much! I'm so blessed that they came into my life.I have a wonderful family- I'm Italian and Slovenien.My family is spread out over the United States-Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Baltimore, and Texas. I love each and everyone of them.I'm Catholic and go to church weekly. I was involved with Youth Groups through out my junior high and high school years. I loved it and am involved now with Campus Ministry at my college. My youth group in high school got the opportunity to go to Chicago for volunteer service and while it wasn't the best of times, it wasn't the worst either. I felt so happy to be serving at Misericordia- a place for physically and mentally disabled adults. While people may judge them unfortunately, I realized that they are just like us. (Huh?)  [ Add to your page ] ..I am SO thankful and grateful for this woman!!! I don't know what I'd do with out her honestly!Wow! Never in a million years did I think one woman on American Idol could make a difference in my life. Well,she did and the sad thing is I didn't realize the positive impact she had on my life untill now 4 years down the road.Her name is Ms.Kimberley Locke. I have been through alot in my life-premature baby with only 10% chance of survival, stopped eating due to anxiety at 14 years old, Grandma passing away suddenly from a massive stroke last year (2006),and my BFF ditched me to be with other people- and every since she sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on American Idol-I knew, but not in that moment that she was going to help me in the past and the future. She helped me get through those rough times in my life that I most likely wouldn't have been able to get through myself without her and her music.I am so grateful and thankful that she came into my life. I wrote her a letter that explained to her what I had to been going through and she wrote back and told me that she appreciated that I shared all those personal times with her and was very glad that she helped me throughout my life. To me that letter telling her all those things ,while great doesn't do justice to meeting her.I have never met her before, but may get a chance to next week when she is in my hometown for a concert (Dec.11th).I don't think she realizes the positive impact she has had on my life and I can't wait to tell her that face-to-face.My Mom doesn't even understand the impact Kim has had on my life-to her Kim is just a "person". But to me, she is so much more than that.Whenever I have a bad day and someone says something to me that hurts me, I look at that message she wrote me and feel 100% better cause she told me I was a special girl and to believe that, to not give up, and that I am beautiful and perfect.Those words mean so much to me from her! She is my inspiration, my encouragement when I wanna quit and give up,my motivator to get me to lose weight,my drive to keep me going when the going gets rough, my "Everyday Angel" who made a difference in my life.I could go on and on and on about her. She never fails to amaze me with her great voice, music,personality,etc. She is always there for me to help me out in the littlest ways, and always put a smile on my face no matter what day I am having. I can't wait till next week to hopefully meet her, give her a huge hug with tears streaming down my face with happiness, and tell her thank you and how grateful I am for her. I knew American Idol made an impact on people, but Ms.Kim Locke made an even bigger and lasting impression on my life that will remain with me forever! She will always be in my heart and I will always be her biggest fan!!!!!!
