Never take things too seriously

About Me

Abnormal, every day guy living in Santa Monica. I like to go out and be social at a local bar, event, festival, or whatever might be going on. I have also found some balance in my life and love relaxing by the beach, or mountain biking in Malibu!

My Interests

Anything outdoors like mountain biking or people watching. I love traveling and have not done nearly enough.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet anyone who is interesting and has something to talk about.

Music:

I like almost anything with a beat from rock and rap to trance and alternative. I have even started to embrace the latin styles and some country? Never would of thought of that. Still can't seem to get into polka, but you never know.

Movies:

I like a lot of movies: History of the World Part I, Caveman, Van Wilder, Blade I and II (III was horrible). Lord of the Rings I,II,III, Dead Poets Society, The Patriot, Glory, Princess Bride, High Fidelity, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Babe (yes I liked it) as well as a lot of Disney Cartoons. Gladiator, Shrek I,II, American Psycho, Boondock Saints, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rundown....blah, blah, blah

Television:

I try to avoid that big evil black box. Curse that thing for having the History Channel, Discovery Channel, CNN and TLC. Many hours of my life wasted on that thing!! O.K. I admit that I do watch The House, Bones and Nip Tuck and of course I watch the Simpsons, who doesn't (and if you don't your lying).

Books:

I have a closet full of them...Let's see.... Mysterious Stranger by mark Twain..That funny looking river guy had a extreme cynical side to him, Old Yeller, A lot of Financial publications like a Millionaire Next Door and a Random Walk Down Main Street. I was a Polisci major, so I have a lot of books on politcs and histroy, but I can never get into the fiction books. I love books on Voltaire (America needs a good Voltair) and Rousseau and I have to admit that Michael Moore cracks me up! I used to have more history books that I had shelf space before I gave a lot away. I even think I still have a copy of The Anarchists Cookbook. I think I bought it just because I could at Barnes and Noble (love the freedom of speech).

Heroes:

I only have two heroes: My father and myself.
