I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Born in Bittburg, Germany, to American educators in the Department of Defense, I spent the first 18 years of my life overseas, living also in England, Bermuda, Belgium, and The Netherlands. I went to college at West Virginia University, where I earned a BA in English and a MA in Education. After that, I spent five years in North Carolina, where I also completed a MFA in poetry at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Currently, I live in New Jersey with my wife, Jennifer. In 2007, the Science Fiction Poetry Association conferred on me their yearly Rhysling Award for Best Short Poem. Skullvines Press will be publishing my first peice of horror fiction, a novellette entitled "Into the Cruel Sea."
