Djing:I’ve been DJing for about 10 years. Started out playing Happy Hardcore/Hardcore then moved on to Drum and Bass and am currently playing mainly Nu-Skool Breaks. I am also into Hip Hop and Turntablism and can scratch to a high standard and beat juggle a little bit. I've played locally (Lancaster) pirate radio, underground events, raves and parties. If you need a DJ don’t hesitate to get in touch!Producing:When I have spare time, I dabble in making Hip Hop, Breaks and D&B using the Reason Software. I also have some hardware: Alesis Monitors, Akai S2000, MPC2000 and A Novation A-Station, which I need to get set up properly one of these days, pull my finger out and start building a proper little studio! I’d be well up for collaborating/making music and bouncing creative ideas around with other people.Promoting:I started promoting/organising my own events about four years ago because there was really nowhere catering for the kinds music I liked. The first night was called “Damage†and was set up by me and DJ Swirv at the Farmers Arms in Lancaster, with DJ’s playing Hip Hop, Breaks and D&B it went down a treat! A few years ago with the help of some friends I started “TRANSFORMâ€. Again the venue was the Farmers Arms and the music was on the beat, breaks and bass tip: Breaks, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Electro etc, and strictly no 4/4. The night ran almost monthly for about two years and had an amazing following and we managed to pack the place, upstairs and down on several occasions. Sadly the Farmers Arms closed down. This year TRANSFORM has joined forces with Djinn and “Urban Warfare†so watch this space.
