"Heart 2 Heart Bluegrass Band's" founder Ron Gross is a bluegrass musician (guitar and bass player)/music lover who has put together a group of people who play great driving bluegrass. Ron & his daughter Heather are the heart of the "Heart to Heart Bluegrass Band". Heather will rock you with her singing and mandolin playing, Reol's bass, Dan's banjo, and Ruby's fiddling blend with Ron's harmonies and guitar playing to make bluegrass music that is traditional but with a style that makes it "Heart To Heart's" Ron and Heather's very own. Ron and Heather have had/have many talented musicians/friends play bass and banjo with them including banjo players Luke Gitchell, Kent Roe, Mike Myers, and bass players Brittany Funk, Ben Crofoot, Dennis Carr, and Rick Allred. Ron has helped many young people, including the band's fiddler Ruby John, get into bluegrass music and he can be depended upon at any festival he is at to jam. Ron and Heather both write great and touching bluegrass songs including the ones on this pages audio collection and "Sweet Abigail" which Heather wrote for her daughter. You can catch the band playing at the Michigan Bluegrass Music Association Paro High School Performance/Jam Session each month November - May in Flint Michigan and at the Bluegrass Festivals listed in the upcoming shows section throughtout the summer.
