About Me

My first experience on the film set was as an extra on the b-movie 'Rock 'n Roll High School Part II'. I took the job with hopes of meeting my childhood heroes The Ramones, who starred in the first 'Rock 'n Roll High School'. As it turned out The Ramones had nothing to do with the 2nd installment. But it was there that I caught the film bug and was inspired by the teamwork of the crew and the process of shooting films.I then went on to study photography and motion picture at Brooks Institute of Photography. There I learned the art and science of photography from an experienced faculty as well as from an exceptionally talented international student body. I earned a BA in motion picture photography and within the same month of graduating won the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s Best Santa Barbara Filmmaker award for my thesis film 'The Jester'.Luckily, within months of graduation, I quickly transcended the hierarchy of the film crew and began working as a director of photography on music videos. I have shot hundreds of music videos for artists such as Blink 182, Pennywise, Descendents, AFI, MxPx, Limp Bizkit, Jimmy Eat World, Tupac Shakur, 311, Kottonmouth Kings, Gwar, Engelbert Humperdink and Cojunta Primavera.I am now directing music videos. Many of my videos have been aired worldwide on MTV, MTV2 and remain for months on end in top 10 lists around the country. Director credits include: Pennywise, Good Riddance, Halo Friendlies, Ten Foot Pole, Strung Out, No Use For A Name, Project 86, Demon Hunter, As I Lay Dying and Himsa.Get at me to direct your next video!!
