"Kwe kwe" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Greetings, I was blessed by 3 children, 1 daughter (who is now an adult), 1 daughter (who is age 7), and my son who died 2 years ago, at the age of 20.He was a good son and I miss him dearly. It is the worst pain of all,to lose a child, and my heart goes out to anyone who has suffered the loss of a child as well. I am trying my best to move forward on my journey of life although some days it's very difficult. Having suffered many losses , it makes me appreciate what I do have and who I have in my life. I am and always have been very proud of my herritage, Mohawk, and want to learn more about the customs and traditions. I love crafting, the outdoors, gardening, music, comedy, camping + fishing, archaeology, antiques, history, and helping others who need a helping hand. For many years, I have collected donations to aid in the homeless, out of my apartment which is the least I can do. I am down-to-earth and have a big heart. I am very pleased to have you all in my family. May you all be blessed with peace, love and happiness.. Sincerely, Mama Bear>>>Walk in Peace<<<Uniting Native Americans... Bringing us together as one tribe... Becoming one large family of many Brothers and Sisters.Gathering information on our customs, language, and traditions, keeping them alive.Supporting one another, as we should as a family.Being very proud of who we are... Native Americans...Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.True Path Walkers Obligations of the True Path Walkers To bring back the natural harmony that humans once enjoyed. To save the planet from present practices of destruction. To find and re-employ real truth. To promote true balance between both genders. To share and be less materialistic. To become rid of prejudice. To learn to be related. To be kind to animals and take no more than we need. To play with one's children and love each equally and fairly. To be brave and courageous, enough so, to take a stand and make a commitment. To understand what Generations Unborn really means. To accept the Great Mystery in order to end foolish argument over religion. As you pass people, animals, trees, or any beings, silently send out love from your heart. Be aware that the Great Spirit is continually pouring Unconditional Love through you to everyone you see and through everyone else as well. However, it's up to us to take that vibratory energy and willingly project it out to others. Watch your thoughts, let judgments go, and just feel love, serenity, and joy radiating out to all who come near you.Mohawk (Iroquois) The Iroquois League, or Five Nations of the Iroquois, was the most powerful Indian military alliance in the eastern part of North America and probably the most successful alliance of any kind between so many important tribes. There were three principal clans - deer, turtle and wolf - existing within the five nations, and this was probably an important unifying factor in the league. The league was formed in the late sixteenth century at which time the five nations had a combined population of 7000.Where Will Our Children Live...A lonesome warrior stands in fear of what the future brings, he will never hear the beating drums or the songs his brothers sing. Our many nations once stood tall and ranged from shore to shore but most are gone and few remain and the buffalo roam no more.We shared our food and our land and gave with open hearts, We wanted peace and love and hope, but all were torn apart. All this was taken because we did not know what the white man had in store, They killed our people and raped our lands and the buffalo roam no more. But those of us who still remain hold our heads up high, and the spirits of the elders flow through us as if they never died. Our dreams will live on forever and our nations will be reborn, our bone and beads and feathers all will be proudly worn.If you listen close you will hear the drums and songs upon the winds, and in the distance you will see....the buffalo roam again. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet a Native American male who is loving, kind, considerate, has a big heart, honest, loyal, who loves the outdoors, appreciates what he has, who is romantic and passionate.NATIVE BLESSINGMAY YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH OF EAGLES' WINGS, THE FAITH AND COURAGE TO FLY TO NEW HEIGHTS, AND THE WISDOM OF THE UNIVERSE TO CARRY YOU THERETELL ME AND I'LL FORGET. SHOW ME, AND I MAY NOT REMEMBER. INVOLVE ME, AND I'LL UNDERSTAND.NATIVE AMERICAN PROVERB The great fire and the little waterAmong the Aztec people of Mexico, it is said that a long time ago there was a great fire in the forests that covered our Earth. People and animals started to run, trying to escape from the fire. Our brother owl, Tecolotl, was running away also when he noticed a small bird hurrying back and forth between the nearest river and the fire. He headed towards this small bird.He noticed that it was our brother the Quetzal bird, Quetzaltototl, running to the river, picking up small drops of water in his beak, then returning to the fire to throw that tiny bit of water on the flame. Owl approached Quetsal bird and yelled at him: "What are you doing brother? Are you stupid? You are not going to achieve anything by doing this. What are you trying to do? You must run for your life!"Quetzal bird stopped for a moment and looked at owl, and then answered: "I am doing the best I can with what I have."It is remembered by our Grandparents that a long time ago the forests that covered our Earth were saved from a great fire by a small Quetzal bird, an owl, and many other animals and people who got together to put out the fire.Native Americans throughout the world...It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving. An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life..."A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves."One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego."The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed."Indian Serenity Prayer God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Native American Prayer for Peace Oh Great Spirit of our Ancestors, I raise my pipe to you. To your messengers the four winds, and to Mother Earth who provides for your children. Give us the wisdom to teach our children to love, to respect, and to be kind to each other so that they may grow with peace of mind Let us learn to share all good things that you provide for us on this Earth. Chief Yellow HawkBlessings of peace, prosperity, and protection.
