My dad is a Chinese-American from San Francisco and my mom grew up in Mexico. I speak English and Spanish and I know words for food in Cantonese (hee, hee). Anyone else out there with a similar ethnic mix? The girl on whom I had a crush in 5th grade called me "Kermit." It sucked, but I think I've gotten less dorky as time goes on--isn't that how things go for everyone? I'm in medical school and the US Navy is paying for it, so I'll owe my life to them after I graduate. It should be pretty exciting, though. I promise to put more people back together than I help to blow up. I'm the oldest sibling to my sister and two brothers. My dad is physically and mentally disabled from an accident he had when I was in high school. Yeah, that was hard--ask me about it sometime. My kitten is named Guantanamera ("Mera"). I'm trying to become more straight-laced and professional, but I'm working against a little freakiness in my nature...
