About Me

Layout made by lisag74 Waiting for Trust Fund to kick in so I can quit my (pretty decent) Day Gig and write/play music 'full time'--good luck with that, right? (Trust me---there is no 'Trust Fund') Sort of a Motto: "Life's too short to hang with boring people"---be INTERESTED in something, PASSIONATE about something---for me, it starts and ends with music. As well as other things.Fairly Self-Sufficient. Ladies, if you MUST have a total fixer-upper (and it appears many of you do, sadly!)---please move along---sorry girls. On the plus side, I do have SOME baggage (like everybody else), but no Samsonite or steamer trunks here. There's room enough for two...I play guitar on a CD that was ranked at #2 on the TOP 100 New Blues CD at www.realbluesmagazine.com. It was tied with JIMMIE VAUGHAN'S tribute to Jimmy Reed CD, "Key To The Highway"! How damn cool is that?? It's called "BOTT and PAID FOR" (Jimi Bott, Drummer extraordinaire!) www.jimibott.com Guitar fetishist (and a few others, too). I'm told I clean up nice---whatever that means. If you don't have a sense of humour, is it worth even breathing? No, I don't think so.

My Interests

Most of em' are dead, but here's my Cosmic Debris of whom I'd like to meet---with way too many left out--MUSICIANS: (to gain insight...and/or hear some groupie stories)Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Beethoven, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, those Tuvan Throat Singers, Little Walter, Jimmy Page, Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, Mozart, Son House, Billie Holiday, Joe Strummer, Bono (sure, why not---Sonny and that Irish dude), BB, Freddie, and Albert King, Robert Johnson, Elvis (Presley first, then Costello, back when he was still pissed off) Nicolo Paganini, Les Paul, Leo Fender (I know, not really a musician, per se...), Django Reinhardt, Lester Young, John Coltrane, SRV, Jimmie Vaughan, the folks that play Gambalan music, whoever invented Gregorian Chants, Stravinsky, AC/DC, Michael Hedges, Otis Redding, Otis Rush, O.V.
