Corsica-born, self-taught painter, I first exhibited while a student in Paris in 1996. Four years later, I moved to London to pursue a dual career in art and graphic design in the City of London. In early 2007 I decided to focus exclusively on my art.
My first source of inspiration was my father, a keen amateur oil painter who encouraged me to develop my talent. My childhood was spent experimenting with most mediums from charcoal and pastel to oils and watercolours, I have recently turned to more experimental techniques which can be seen in my latest 'Glimpse' series. My sensibility in the use of light is partly inspired by the Dutch masters, particularly Rembrandt. Another strong influence is Modigliani for the sensuality he depicted in his work
Here is a sample of two of my series of paintings: Glimpse and Hats etc. To view my main website please click on the link below

"Glimpse" A bout de souffle (Breathless)
Painting produced using a mica based pigment gel, resulting in an iridescent blue which changes hue from bright blue to deep purple depending on the viewing angle.
More Glimpse "Hats etc" Bonnie
This fun series of dainty ladies are painted in oil. Elegant, oblong faces, graceful long necks and bright headgear, with just a touch of red plumped lips!
More Hats etc
