About Me

IM: PsykoticMnky

I'm sarcastic. Once you get used to that, I'm much easier to get to know. I have a very dry sense of humor which can also result in very random statements that are only funny to me. Get used to this second point and you'll find I'm a rather fun individual. I like to spice things up in life by doing random crap. I went vegan for 2 years just to see how much fun it was.
Beyond all of this, I'm easygoing, open-minded, and I enjoy making everyone laugh. I also have a tendency to curse like a sailor, or so I'm told.
Don't know if Einstein really said this, but I love it:
"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly." - Albert Einstein
Oh, and if this makes any sense to you, it's all you'll ever need:
ENFJ

My Interests

Certainly Not MySpace.
Now that that's been said, I'm a technology whore. I'm skilled with anything electronic, and therefore, I tend to like anything electronic. Beyond that, I'd rather you ask and find out for yourself, but I'm generally fascinated with anything and everything.

I'd like to meet:

I like people who bring out the best in my personality, which essentially means, no negativity. I enjoy intelligence, wit, sarcasm plus a good sense of humor (or at least a good understanding of my own humor) and an open-mind. I also like faces, so make sure you got that going on.

Music:

I'm not really picky unless I'm listening to music alone.
That said, rap/hip-hop is probably the only genre that I don't care for but everything else I can enjoy with good company.

Movies:

I love artistic films. I can enjoy the occasional action or entertainment film, but my primary love is the art in film. Current Favorite:
The Namesake
Past Favorites:
Amelie, Waking Life, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Before Sunset, (I have yet to see Before Sunrise, but I want to) Sliding Doors, Amorres Perros, City of God, and, Stranger than Fiction, just to name a few.Note: Fastest way to my heart. Have good taste in films, and discuss it with me. I love discussing films.

Television:

Although I don't really have time to watch TV anymore, I really enjoy the following:
Scrubs, House, The Office.

Books:

I'm a child of science. I love science fiction. I read books to escape, so I don't care as much for stories based on reality, but if it's a really good book, then I'll give it a try.
I've read most of the works of Phillip K. Dick, Arthur C. Clarke, Issac Asimov and Douglas Adams. As for non-science-fiction, I've read White Oleander, and I'm currently trying to read Running with Scissors.

Heroes:

Define hero.
People I look up to, well, mainly my father and grandfather.
On the more cliche side, Einstein is definitely someone I would like compare myself to, at least, intellectually.

New favorite movie flys high.

So I've seen Rent twice. The first time I saw it was more a spur the moment act of spontaniety with some family members on Thanksgiving Day. Initially (for maybe the first hour) I was actually turned ...
