FreezetheSun came to me in a moment of complete inspiration. I had been playing guitar for about 12 years, just recording on a little Zoom digital 4-track. Whilst recording a track in the living room I recorded probably my first alright sounding track. It was just a drum loop and a couple of overdubbed guitars! I started letting close friends and family hear the result and was pleasantly suprised by the reaction, hence FTS was born! After that I invested in a little home recording equipment, Samson CD-20 Condenser mic, Line 6 KB37 Toneport, another couple of guitars, Epiphone les paul junior being my main electric! I also do most recording, editing, producing and mastering on my Macbook pro using a range of audio software, I started using Acid Pro, which for me was the program that set the pace for me to go on and discover, Ableton live 6, Propellerhead Reason 4, garageband, a whole host of wave editors. 2006 saw me start my first band, DANIRO was the unofficial name, it was really a learning curve, playing with other like minded muscians and even managed to convert a friend from work into a willing and enthused bass player! Mainly knocking out covers in the rehearsal room we soon became not to bad! I really enjoyed those sessions and sometimes a little to much, STELLA! And the herbal medicine! LOL. During that time I happened to bump into an old friend who had his own projects running and who was writing and playing his own material. DEADBEAT AUDIO! A great little band who can be found on myspace were the band! I took up part of lead guitarist and learned some great lessons from each session! A big thanx to Martin & Marc for sharing there musical interests with me. At the same time as enjoying my live rehearsals I began to rediscover house music and in particular Acid House music. Back in 1989 I had become totally obsessed with house music and loved annoying my mother with my live dj sets in house LOL. A BIG SHOUT TO HOLOGRAM HOOKERS!
