About Me

If I grew up in the 70's, I would've been a disco queen... If I grew up in the 60's, I would've been a hippy... but, since I grew up in the 80's, I'm a mix of the two! I adore music and I miss the days of dancing all night long, mostly because now the only dancing I do is with a bunch of 5 year olds! I am now very happily married to the Local Hero, so life is always intriguing and adventerous. Our kittens are little terrors, but they are too cute. I couldn't ask for more!

My Interests

Anything that doesn't include school work!

I'd like to meet:

Somebody really named Bill Lumburgh!

Music:

Hmmm... where to begin? Classic Rock: Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, CCR, Crosby, Still, Nash, and Young, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Who, ... next comes Techno: Paul Oakenfold, BT, Bad Boy Bill, Sasha and Digweed, Richard Humpty Vission, DJ Irene, DJ Dara, DB, Dieselboy, Timo Maas, DJ Tiesto, Aphrodite, ... now comes everything else: Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, REM, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Blink 182, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Muse, Head Automatica, Beck, Cake, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, ... The best soundtrack: Reservoir Dogs!

Movies:

The Usual Suspects is definitely a must see for everyone! Oceans 11 was excellent, but Ocean's 12, not so much. Top Gun and Dirty Dancing, oldies but goodies. Almost Famous was fabulous... But, nobody can beat the Star Wars or Back to the Future trilogies!

Television:

The Family Guy, The Simpsons, That 70's Show, Nip Tuck, House, any form of CSI, and a VH1 countdown or Behind the Music is always entertaining.

Books:

I'd like to read more James Patterson novels and all the usual chick magazines, but all I really get to read is "Froggy Goes to Dinner" and "No, David!" and my favorite, "It's Hard to be Five!"

Heroes:

The Local Hero is my hero baby!
