I am here for Friends

About Me

I take lots & lots of photos and share far too many here.See the shows, once you've viewed, please me, share your comments, not that I will heed nor hurt any, not that you should take that personally. Still, I'd like to know your opinion on my day, it makes me feel special. REALLY. I love it when you send me shoe pix in my comments it makes me weak. That's cool.I will turn this year, BUT I will always remain a truly conflicted juvenile delinquent at heart.

Really. I live in West Palm Beach, Florida, where I was born. I don't work here, though I did, I'm a LMT, that's licensed massage therapist. I've been licensed for 14 years. When I earn a living I do it rubbing the rich, the neurotic, the hurting, naked folks, the wealthy unwell, mostly. It's rewarding but it can be 'challenging'- go ahead just imagine the ways. But overall it has been an interesting career. I closed my downtown practice after ten years in April 2007. I still work once in a while/part time. I'm mostly a wife and mother lately. I'm now married for nine years. I am happily married. We have a beautiful nearly 6 year old daughter, she's my girl, my *STAR*

her name is Vegas. Big Daddy Weigle, my man, my *ROCK*, and I figured she's the biggest gamble we'd ever take. I am very lucky. I'm very close to my family, too close sometimes. I have a younger sister, she's a SCOFFLAW among other things, also a mighty wrestler, her name is Ronda aka Tiny, Patches, Tiny Patches. She ROCKS!! I love music. I am like legions, a huge fan of U2, and lately I love anything, everything Jack Johnson, but now it's Amy Winehouse .My favorite color today, is pink. My favorite movie is 'Silence of the Lambs'. TO HO + JO FO! The last whole book I read was 'Kitchen Confidential' -Anthony Bourdain = TO BO! MY very own, not borrowed, signed copy BITCHES! A gift, from my really long time, secret keeping strength super-friend CAEG, TY! My favorite foods include all things seafood, but it should be cooked. I've already eaten all the raw things I'm going to willingly in this lifetime. Someone smart told me, I equate saying "NO" with being less than kind, a bad person. I think she's right, she is, I'm working on that. Sorta. I'm not a particularly religious or political person. I wouldn't say I'm very spiritual either. I guess I'm a hippy in a postmodern sort of way. I don't know what that means. I have an infantile fantastic view of the world I live in. I make wishes daily. On the stars, , - OR 11:11 on a clock or a watch, or perhaps a few. I enjoy astrology, and I love a tarot card reading on occasion. I love PB Zoo at Dreher Park but the monkeys , they scare me. I can't wear socks because they absolutely STRANGLE my feet, thus, I rarely wear a closed toe shoe. There you have it- Oh, AND I try to live peacefully within my means.IF I now have $740, I still won't spend that much on a pair of shoes.

Even the stupidest of shoes. I try not to be wasteful and I'm hardly ever mean, but I am so schooled in the mean, IT'S NOT PRETTY. I'm a mother, I never dreamed I'd be a parent but I think I'm a good one. I have blue eyes and I am shorter than most people my age at 5' 0". I have broken 15 of the 206 bones in my body at least once, a few of those twice. I'm accident prone, err klutzy...I've tripped plenty often but I don't travel, so I surround myself with friends who do. No, I know it isn't the same, but 'the travelling' involves 'the packing' of only some of my stuff, which means leaving the rest of my stuff (SHOES) behind...plus, I don't drive much, I hate to fly THE AIRLINES, and I so get sea-sick. I REALLY WANT TO GO TO PLACES, I just don't wanna have to travel. Ideally I'd own a pair of THE MAGIC SHOES to transport me, swift like. By now, it's obvious, I'm also a self absorbed control freak that says "really" alot. Seeking less control I'd like to see the legalization of marijuana, Florida could be the place, 'the sun is shining, the weather is sweet' we could farm it, that would be a great rotating crop, better than the fields of sugar cane ,The burning of those fields at the end of the growing season is a trial for the respiratory system, cannabis will make for some happy smoke. =) I'm right, I am. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~T hat's some HIGHLY Good JUJU for our Earth.I NEED TO SEE CUBA! I can speak a little High School Spanish.I like to yammer, I love words so, I'd like to know more words, in French and Italian too.Someday I'd like to learn to play the guitar. This year I am learning to play the guitar -DAMN IT!-- though, I heard the guitar gives you callouses on my massage fingertips, gloves maybe? WAIT! I've changed my mind. 'Magine that?! (much easier than following thru with the guitar) NOW, I want to play the drums instead. I just don't have enough "Courtney Love" in me these days. On the drums, I wouldn't have to be up front, I could make music whilst hidden in my FANTASTIC drum kit. Lately, Meg White, she gets me excited. I want some crowd juju, I'd love me some concert stage juju. I love the thought of all that energy and appreciation focused in my general direction. Not directly, I'd puke. I couldn't pull it off out in the front, not the mic, nor the bass, nor the lead guitar. I wanna be Larry Mullen Jr. this week.

AND PICTURES! SO...This LONG moon slide show is especially for Wendy, I wish she was here, watching with me. =) We would SO MOONDANCE!DANCING OF COURSE! I want to, I will try to do more, the dancing more, the worrying less. I'm a far ways from my once upon a time, danced-away nights, I can handle a radio mix 3:48 from my playlist twice with a bit of a break. It isn't pretty but it feels really good. Go on, you there, dance a bit, DO IT, move it, shake that thing. =)!I'm interested in holistic health solutions AND making interesting people with their interesting things more comfortable in their own skin- which can also be my job, on a good day =)!I am obsessed with hot chicks that are famous for being hot. See... My very favorite famous for being hot chick, Kate Moss. She can be a mess --SEE MELTDOWNS in PUB-lic.I follow too closely the glamorous gossip of the freakishly famous, the super-stars,

especially when they are behaving badly - falling down, doing drugs, getting dirty, the dirtier the better. Meltdowns in PUB-lic. Great, big scandalous stuff but only the recoverable kind, never the genuine losses of anyone, EVER. I don't like printed toilet paper, or toilet paper with added lotion. I LOVE LAUNDROMAT & LAUNDRY MACHINES.
I love a lava lamp, so soothing. White noise me. Fish tank hypnotize me, O, please do. Really. I'd like very much to be hypnotized, if that is a possible thing, let me know. I gotta know. O, just in case you read but don't comprehend, lots don't. I am a huge fan of alliteration. Jesse Jackson makes me laugh. BIGGER FAN of the double entendre, the turn of a word. (like VAGARY (great word))I do LOVE all the words, and the weight of some. I'm a vocab whore, that spells real well. Grammar, not so much, I suck at punctuation too. Finally, some might say 'the sound of my own voice'. Well, yeah. Sometimes.:)

I'd like to meet:

Tricksters, Not Illusionists. I dated a magician once, I think she was gay. Also: Audrey Hepburn ,Andy WarholIcons and anybodies. All the people, all the time. NO MIMES. Editors, real-life collage makers.AMY, AMY, AMY!TRUMAN CAPOTESo I can get champagne-drunk, whilst getting dressed-up with MARILYN MONROE , we'd so pop pills and fight over John & Bobby!VINCE VAUGHN , for the wrestling.Charo, because, well, because, she is Charo. Cuchi!Cuchi! Benicio Del Toro, alone in an elevator... David Bowie , OMG, though, I might pass out, I'd definitely get hives!! DB is the ultimate in celebre fantasy, no, not the naked-dirty kind, the goose-bump kind. Musical brilliance is my favorite favorite, my peak of pure pleasure. For the sweaty kind, see Benicio. Any Great Communicators. Bill ClintonWilliam ShatnerI do enjoy the crazies, unfortunately I tend to attract the psychos.Bono, Adam, Larry, & The Edge, of course. Musicians. Artists. Creative dorks. The comfortable, the don't take themselves too serious types. My favorite flavors, including, but not limited to: Bob Marijuana Marley, John Vanilla Travolta & Jodie Lesbian Foster. Mustn't forget ala'tragic- Robert Downey Jr. now, now, now, here, there, anywhere Kate Moss.Graham Norton.Jennifer Coolidge --STIFLER'S MOM --I LOVE HER. She played a red-haired, massage therapist that 'Jerry' dated, but didn't get a rub from, on the infamous Seinfeld episode. In the movie 'Best in Show' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0218839/ -she played a part that I can also identify closely with. PLUS She 'does' the accents, lots. So I can slap them: Lindsey Lohan & Sharon Stone Both of them. At the same time. So I can spank them: Paris & Nicole Both of them. At the same time. Also, a competent & patient guitar teacher with good hygiene and no massage contraindicated health concerns. Someone that is interested in bartering my music lessons, hour for hour in exchange for legitimate massage. Seriously. Theodore Roszak, the writer. And most of all this man: Then there's Wendy, my Gemini Twin...AND I SO got to meet her after years of the MySpaces together in MARCH 2008!!! We had a billboard time!! I been thinking about you baby and I want you to live with me. I love her MAJAH! We must do it again, slower this time. I wanna do just regular daily stuff with her, neighborly in a sisterly way =)!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~"What else is there for me to conquer? Hopefully my ego. How will I know when I've succeeded? When I stop caring what anyone thinks."- Madonna tells the new issue of Q magazine

Music:

MMMMM. MY FAVORITES AND SONGS THAT REMIND ME OF STUFF I ENJOY RETHINKING ON CUE MAKE UP MY PLAYLIST
Never did I think anyone would near my love for the U2 but - the Jack Johnson is the 'cat's meow' in my opinion. *Thank you Carolyn*. I LOVE JACK JOHNSON. Generally my musical tastes are all over the place. I grew up listening to both 'The Beatles' and 'The Elvis'

. My mom hated on 'The Yoko' and we burned a candle the day John Lennon ('The'-be unnecessary)died. The day 'The Elvis' died, well let's just say it was a tad darker. My father favored 'The Country' but I remember him spinning 'The Animals'-"House of the Rising Sun" on the turntable of the giganto MAGNAVOX stereo cabinet in the livingroom, lots of Jim Croce too. My tiny sister and I would practice MY choreographed moves for hours. Wendy you know what I'm saying --all I'm saying is SOLID GOLD!! Denny Dance Fever Terrio!--I do love the music I did dance and still sing to. Think BIG GAY EURO DISCO EIGHTIES TECHNO DRUG DRIVEN CLUB DANCE MIX. I buy the soundtracks and I love recorded LIVE versions of the music I love. Rich with audience energy and artistic missteps . I don't do the crowds, the concerts, they make me nervous, but I love the sound of it. I love Simply Red, Johnny Cash, Dido, Lenny Kravitz, Finley Quaye, most Reggae. LOVE MACY GRAY, David Grey too. I LOVE DAVID BOWIE MORE THAN CAKE :) I love Cake too, skater music, VIOLENT FEMMES, Butthole Surfers, Death Cab for Cutie, R.I.P Lou Rawls - BIG male voices. Johnny Cash. Arctic Monkeys, Pixies, Hole. The grrls, in no particular order Holly Palmer, Mary Lou Lord, Kate Bush, Milla Jovovich, Courtney Love, Madonna, Gwen, Blondie, Shirley, Sinead, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Aimee Mann, AMY WINEHOUSE, Alison Moyet, Yaz, Ella FitzG, ODB, DMB, Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas. Blur, Portishead, Damien Rice, Gorillaz, Mazzy Starr, Fiona Apple, Sneaker Pimps. Robert Johnson, Moby, Bob Marley, Bryan Ferry (HIS VOICE BEING MY MOST FAVORITE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT), Roxy Music, Radiohead, James, Norah Jones, Joss Stone, Seal, Otis Redding, Billie Holiday, Maroon 5, Pete Yorn, Peter Murphy, Prince, Beck, REM, NIN, Mono, The Cure, Tina Turner. The Smiths, OMD, Psychedelic Furs, GoGOs, 'THE ENTIRE EIGHTIES'. The Happy *not too* Hippy Songs. Edie Brickell is as 'Grateful Dead/Phish-ish' as I go...Chemical Bros, Rabbit in the Moon, zoe, most any good trance, dance, house music is fine by me ---Eminem, Ludacris, Ice T, some popular rap, recently more. No twangy. No 'boy rock' No, No, NO.-No Primus, No Rob Zombie...No crazy fast 'acid' jazz, it makes me nervous, like bad blow.I'm a tad reluctant to display openly my SO SO FLO birth right affinity for the Southern Rock, Tom Petty, Allmon Bros & Lynard Skynard, as my husband is a BIG NEIL YOUNG fan, I do not enjoy the Neil Young, too twangwhiny. My DH, he's a also a bit of a 'Deadhead'. No. NO. NO. =)!I do love a REALLY LOUD CLASSIC ROCK LED ZEPPELIN or AC/DC tune on occasion too. Washing your car in your bikini, in the driveway music.

Movies:

I like them. I don't go real often, the chairs are uncomfortable, I don't dig the theater furniture. I rent and return late, I'm a delinquent. My favorites usually include a few key elements, including but not limited to A BIG SOUTHERN MESS ~ charm, drawl, the sexy, much scandal and the crazy. For Example: 'Clay Pigeons'Big, charming, serial murderous Vince Vaughn in nothing but his underpants and a cowboy hat. YEAH BABY!!! Not even anti-bimbo Janeane Garofolo can escape his sexy ways. I dig the psychological thriller. Especially, when well played Southern accents abound and a healthy dose o' white trash is represented. It makes my story feel worthy of cinema. 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil' is another stellar example of charming southern gentlemen up to the sexy. My favorite movie is probably 'The Silence of the Lambs' . "It puts the lotion on it's skin or it gets the hose again." I love both the leads, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster ~ Clarice, say it Mr. Black, please. Of course I loved Fight Club , Fear & Loathing, Pulp Fiction , The Usual Suspects, Swingers Best movie I saw in 2005 Crash . The BEST MOVIE I've seen 2008

Television:

I watch too much of it these days. Some Favorites: LOVE ANTHONY BOURDAIN:No Reservations . LOVE CHRIS GARVER ON MIAMI INK DOUBLE THE LOVE HERE!Although I am a stay at home mom, most days, these days, I don't do much adult programming during the day. Mostly PBS. Though, I DO LOVE CHARLIE & LOLA of Disney Dragontails and that bald whiny bitch, Caillou are my most frequently watched. -- Like it or not."Like sands through the hourglass, so are the DOOL" is the only soap opera I've ever followed, I can remember watching with my mom while we folded laundry together. Dark Shadows - a vampire drama was a daily ritual for us too.Oh, as a kid I LOVED the 'Sonny & Cher' show , I'd create my own Bob Mackie gowns from ALL my mother's nightgowns nightly and sing atop the coffee table.

Books:

Valley of the Dolls was the last entire book I read. Before that, was my, O YESH, my SIGNED copy of Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential *TY CRAYROLYN*. My guiltiest pleasure are trashy magazines filled with scurrilous gossip and glossy pictures of AIR BRUSHED VENEERED PLASTIC PEOPLE AND the shiny, pretty things in PULP. The FINER, the ODD the INTERESTING.

Heroes:

MY HUSBAND!!!--He saved my dear daddy's life and of course, Mr. Terry Money, my dad, a veteran...those heroic paramedics too. My grandmas, RIP Ann Skinner & LONG LIVE Nell Tate. My mom for the sacrifices a mother makes. I might have more, I'll have to think on it. I do, I have more. My cancer surviving girls, y'all know which ones you are. I'm inspired by your strength and bravery. It's true, it is. =)!
