I'm interested in why everyone seems to think they are so important - And why are so many people fascinated by celebrities? - I wonder why people try so hard to fit in - I wonder why alcohol is legal, but drugs aren't - I am curious why some people think they know what 'god' is and what 'god' wants - I am interested in people, but being around them is often a strain - I am just trying to get through life, in the world we live in, without killing myself (or anyone else).
In general - Spending time w/ friends and family, skiing, history, social justice, philosophy, existentialism, socialism, reading, learning, yoga, music, music festivals, movies, the mountains, surfing, the beach and the ocean, traveling, paba free lotions, the Terps and the Ravens.
And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking -
Racing around to come up behind you again -
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older -
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
- PINK FLOYD
People with at least half a brain (not as many people as you might think) and people who think for themselves (still fewer people).
This might be easier - PEOPLE I DON'T WANT TO MEET: capitalist pigs, salesmen, anyone religious, 'punks', people who live 'in the city', anyone who defines themselves as 'a surfer', social conservatives, Hummer h2 owners (or any 06' or later SUV drivers in general - fucking arrogant selfish pigs), most cops (fascist pigs), hunters, golfers (mini-golfers ok), 'career minded' people, politicians, players or 'playas', present or former 'jocks', cigar aficionados, anyone into 'organic living', lacrosse players, teachers pets, good ol' boys, or anyone who refers to themselves in the third person.
I don't suffer fools easily. However, I do hold out hope that there may be people out there who get it, and I just haven't run across them yet. Are they on myspace?...........seems unlikely, but you never know.
