Dead Wood

Adam Baker started the solo project Dead Wood at the end of 2002, exploring the varied worlds of sinewaves, noise, soundscape and microsound. Sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, these experiments are created using instruments, kids toys, contact mics, guitar pedals, laptop, field recordings etc. Dead Wood performes live and has releases on labels such as Tibprod, Insult Recordings, Kabukikore, At War With False Noise etc. Adam is also one half of electronica duo I Before E, performs in improvised electronic ensemble No Context and runs the Dirty Demos label.
