- THE STROKES - 4TH ALBUM PLANS -After a long and much needed hibernation period that saw many of the band's various other musical projects emerge, we're pleased to announce that The Strokes are now all back hard at work in their NYC space on writing and rehearsing new material for a 4th full-length album. No recording studio time has been booked yet, as they sketch out the blue-prints of new songs and fine tune plans in their rehearsal space, but it will undoubtedly be all mapped out and etched in stone at some point in the not-too-distant future.
- SCHOOL OF SEVEN BELLS - NPR'S WORLD CAFE -The World Cafe will be broadcasting a School of Seven Bells session on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 on National Public Radio’s World Cafe with host David Dye. The session can be heard on nearly 200 stations nationwide. Fans can find their local station by scrolling to the bottom & choosing their state under "Find a Program Broadcast Time" at the following link:

- A KIND OF DREAM - a kind of dream is a thirty minute, black and white, silent film written and directed by Danny Velez with music composed by Nikolai Fraiture. It was shot over 4 to 5 days during the spring of 2003 by Clara Roberts-Oss and was featured in the NYC Howl Festival in 2007. Above are stills and two three-minute excerpts.
A limited edition DVD run of this film is now available online. The film being located in NYC, all of Nikolai's portion of the proceeds will be donated to "The Bowery Mission".
