The idea behind the journal jar is to provide questions that start you on a path of exploring YOU!
I was raised in Orange County and as I grew older I became entangled in the rat race that I called my life. I was always so busy going here and there that as I grew up I never stopped to think about what I wanted from life or what was important to me. This all changed a couple of years ago when I lost one of the most important people to me and was left feeling alone and confused.
The only way I was able to cope with my emotions was through writing. I found that when I sat down to write I had no idea where to start or what to write about, but I had an extreme urge to write. I thought that if I just had a prompt to start from that I would be able to write my little heart out. By talking to other women I found that others had the same dilemma and that is where the idea for the Journal Jar came from. I found that by using a Journal Jar I was able to bring purpose to my writing and it became one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I did.
Each of us is on a journey and as a result we each have our own unique story that makes us who we are. This is what led me to design and create My Journal Jars, a way for every woman to tell her story!
I am extremely proud that I am able to share the gift of writing with women of all ages. Each Jar was designed to have its own unique set of questions that help you pull yourself out of the rat race and into finding out who you are, where you came from and where you’re going.
