OBH Records or Our Bloodied Hands Records is a label that has been in the progression stage since 2005. Both creators Andy Cressman and Lance Hendrickson came up with the idea one day after talking online. They believe that the music business needs a new voice, a new sound. After working through numerous names they stopped on Our Bloodied Hands. Why you may ask well Our Bloodied Hands stands for the struggle new and innovative bands and artists have to go through to become an independent hit. It stands for the fight that all artists on a local level have to go through, all the barriers they have to jump over to get their music heard. OBH Records believes in what Myspace is doing by allowing local artists, artists that you would probably never know about to share their music, their inspirations, their voice. In that OBH Records wants to make these voices known by signing them, helping them record their music and then help distribute their music.
The belief of OBH Records is that the underground rock scene is ready to explode on the main stage, ready to give those bands whom shoot straight to the top a running for their money. Hell OBH Records believes to be a true musician you need to write your own music, not have some record label writer do it for you. Music needs to come from the heart, and you need to voice your own opinions, your own way. OBH Records in accordance with eMSTAR Productions wants to help this voice be heard.
