Stuart has been singing and writing for as long as he can remember.He started rapping and break dancing as a kid and would peform at any given opportunity.
A few years later he got in to dance hall music/ragga.He tried his hand at chatting and tried to emulate the DJ's of the time.Ninjaman, Shabba Ranks, Cutty Ranks, Proffessor Nuts. Pupa San and so on.
The first track He recorded was with Warner bros where he featured on as a chatter at the age of 15.
At the time he knew of a very small hand full of other Caucasian guys out there doing what he was doing and they where scattered out in jamaica, it was fun, new and different.
Later he began singing and again still following the reggae scene was inspired by the likes of Sanchez, Garnet Silk Frankie Paul, Beres Hammond along with brilliant singer songwriters like Stevies wonder, Prince The Beatles and many other mainsteam contempary artists. .As the singing got better he was partnered in music the biz with the DJ/chatter from the track Shine and band Aswad.He would be the singer and new partner in crime would do the DJ'ing and share all in between.
A few years later and the direction has slightly changed but with much more focus.Having a strong and varied background has only helped Stuart to grow as a strong passionate versatile writer.
