About Me
I am a poker player who plays at the WSOP and the European Tour. My best place in the WSOP was 2nd in Stud. I also have 2 top 20 finishes in the Main Event. 1 in 14th and 1 in 10th. What has been the most painful moment of your career thus far?The Bubble Moment at the WSOP Main Event 2004 without any doubt, to be so close and certainly one of the favorites to win it. The way Dan Harrington played his hand was like a perfect set-up, by his mistake which my read was based on, the later explanation was based on the fact that was given by the hand history as the whole world has seen happened, but the fact was, that he played the hand bad -which he admits- now he placed himself in a situation, in which he would be in the best case by calling, 52/48 favor or a big underdog...to count the Jack and the Ace as a over card knowing that your opponent has a small pair must include than the fact that the small pair could be one of the board cards which would be very a set of 6 or eights and very hard to beat with only a flush draw then. So the story was nice but the reality is "what you don’t see on the part shown on tv…"Everybody was very tired, Dan especially, and when this moment game to him, when he had understand the mistake he had made by not moving in on the flop... he thought after looking at his ace jack off-suit.. he was surprised that he found the ace of clubs...and now thought about it for about a minute and a half or 2 minutes, and then made a "crying call" which was based on the thought of "let’s try get it over with today", then he hit the jack on the turn to give him a pair then, the rest is WSOP/ ESPN history. My goal is still to come. It is the moment l will win the $10,000 Main Event of the WSOP in Vegas, and shout Sylvester Stallone wife’s name (in the movie Rocky) “ADRIANNNN!†Whereby I will close nearly one eye as well, like he did in the movie!
