The Funking Barstewards

About Me

The legendary Funking Barstewards return bigger than ever! (diets failed 08).The surrealist seventies cover band, who wowed audiences throughout the nineties with record breaking and award winning gigs at venues such as the Mean Fiddler, Clapham Grand, Kentish Town Forum, Brixton academy and Pembury Tavern Hackney are back.Gasp as they deftly handle some of the greatest dance music ever written.Swoon as they pass by in costumes unwashed since 1992.Swallow as you drink otherwise it will go all over your clothes. The Barstewards are, of course, always available for private and corporate parties, but this summer something amazing is happening. The band will be playing an unprecedented amount of public shows, some even outdoors when it is possibly quite hot. These are certainly not events that I will miss, as I'm in the band.Thank you to all who've supported us over the years and who knows, maybe it's time to dust off those flares and moonwalk over to Gravesend, Branscombe or Broadstairs?? ( dates in other major European capitals tbc).Party on druid.
