Welcome to the new official New England Rave Union myspace page. Home of the NERU crew, and a leader in underground event production in New England. Based in Maine, the NERU has been a crew since 2001 and has been throwing events since 2004, both alone, and with the collaboration of other New England based crews. The NERU has stood for more then just itself, but represents all crews in the Northeast who come together to share one common thing, music.
With new crews and artists being added frequently, the NERU has claimed Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Mass and Connecticut as its stomping ground. Being the nautical star for the New England rave scene, each member of the NERU has been given the opportunity to experience a variety of events and performances, both domestically, as well as internationally.
The NERU is famous for its authentic underground events, mainly based in the Maine wilderness, or other Maine venues. Not only has the NERU partaken in some of the best underground events in New England, but has also done events in the Midwest as well.
In 2004, the NERU created the now famous Skyscape, held deep in the woods of Maine. In 2006, Skyscape became known as the "best outdoor event in almost a decade" in Maine. The NERU is dedicated to keeping Skyscape alive as an educational event as well as a dedicated event in the scene, supporting the originality of sound, and the beauty that surrounds us.
