We are an Irish Set Dancing group. Irish SET dancing is the "other" Irish dance (Irish Country Dancing). It is a form of social dancing similar in formation to Square Dancing. MICHAEL PATRICK BREEN, the director of the group, is an actor, choreographer, step, set and ceili dancer. He has won four North American National titles in Ceili dancing. He was born in Northwest London, England at a very young age! His family moved home to Ireland (Mayo) in 1977. Parents and grandparents from: Kilnamona and Kilmihil, County Clare; Derradda, Newport, County Mayo; Gurteen, County Sligo. Michael has been living in Los Angeles since 1989. ----------------------------------------------------
