About Souljah and StreetFameEnt
Souljah grew up in the streets of Raleigh NC. While At a local party in his hood(Southgate)He watched a local crew by the name of KGB do da damn thang and after watching DJ Blast rip the turntables up,Souljah was hooked. From then, he was like, "I want to be a DJ"... Souljah Started DJing at the age of 12. Souljah would save his lunch money and at the end of the week he would catch the bus downtown Raleigh to the local record store{MR FREEZE RECORDS}and spend his lunch money on records. Souljah mastered the turntables: sratching, cutting, blending, & mixing. Souljah was best known for his blends, by taking 2 songs and making then sound like 1. As time went on his homies would tell him you should start making beats, you got the ear for it,souljah was like "WORD?" Souljah steped away from the turntables and was getting caught up in the streetlife, never got to deep in the streets, he could never see himself behind bars. At the age of 22 souljah found the NATION OF ISLAM and realized that he had a aim and a purpose (to make good music). After doing countless house parties, wedding receptions and renting buildings out, me and my homie (Big Russ) it was said to him again by a female, who is a great artist herself, after days and hours watching souljah mix, scratch and blend records, she too realized the love and passion for music that he had and told him you will make a good producer, you have the ear, love, and passion... its in you. Soon after that a homie of his gave him a recording software(Reason), not to many days into Reason souljah knew that ALLAH had sent these 2 people into his life to put me on the road to becoming a great MUSIC PRODUCER. StreetFameEnt. was started in '07. Souljah's aims are to work with up and coming artists who are hungry, focused, and talented. Not them brothas and sisters who have mastered the art of faking like you r a rapper singer or producer by watching RapCity or 106 n park, No, not that kind of talent. Soujlah is talking about the talent that ALLAH put in your soul ,they are the ones souljah wants to work with. An old school artist of the early 70's said, "A true artist makes music to change the condition of people lives..." Thats what StreetFame is about: making your lives better through music. You got good product, holler at me, lets make something happen. OH YEA, ALL YALL NEW CEOS COMING UP, WE NEED TO FOCUS ON THE REAL RAW TALENT NOT JUST CAUSED THE SISTER LOOKS GOOD OR THE BROTHA LOOKS AND ACT GANGSTA. DONT RELY ON THE IMAGE, JUST TALENT.........P.E.A.C.E.
