Frank Violence and His Deputies

About Me

They came into this world like burnt out Panthers from Hollywood California. They ruled the streets for six short months from the end of 1999 to the start of 2000. The main players were Jonny stixx (drums) and Frank Violence (vocals and rhythm guitar). Many players came and went like Rubin De Covina and John Sellers. In 2001 they recorded the notorious self titled four song seven inch at radio beat records in Long Beach where GG king (lead guitar) and Brady Roberts (bass) joined the band. That was the one and only release of The Deputies besides the various compilations they were on. Sadly Shortly after the release of their 7" we lost Frank Violence. He just walked away one day leaving behind everything in the dark. I went to his flat during this time to try and find him and I discovered a place that was not empty but rather abanoned. He was either ahead of his time or had lost his mind. We hear he is doing better and working as an archeologist somewhere in southern California. He sang for a very short time in The Fucking Pigs recently with Jaimie Lamb. Years before he played with the King of psychobilly Marco Polo in "The Curse of the Pink Hearse" and a side project with the notorious Al Foul. Who knows perhaps one day we will be graced with a renunion tour from the Deputies. I created my layout at KillerKiwi.net
