BIG FISH is a High Energy Modern Country Band! We are currently the back-up band for Nashville Recording Artist LLOYD KNIGHT (Seasong Records). When were not touring with LK, you can find us playing locally in the Tampa Bay area. Our song list is always expanding and you will usually hear some of our original music mixed in. Whether you want New Country, Classic Country, Rock, Southern Rock, or even a Dance Set, Big Fish is for you. We pride ourselves on being reliable, experienced, professionals. If you are from the Eastern U.S., somebody in the band has probably played in your hometown. All members are very talented and have big fun playing together. The audience can’t help but be drawn into the party. Big Fish is the culmination of a project started in December 2003. Bassist/vocalist Donnie Taaffe and Guitarist/vocalist Fred Walker recruited drummer Larry King to take a shot at the hottest market in the music business, Country music. While writing, playing in other bands, and doing studio work, they searched out the right players. In July of 2005, the amazingly talented Michael “C†joined as lead singer, front man and guitarist. The chemistry was excellent and the band was very successful. Now it’s off to the races as success seems to be “over nightâ€. You’ll catch top shelf musicians setting in on keys, fiddle, steel, or dobro on any given night. So if your in the Tampa Bay area get out and see the Big Fish Band.
