I play drones, keyboard and guitar in Starstream and used to play in The Laurels.
When I’m not on stage myself, I like to take photos of bands.
I like to think that my photography captures not simply a moment in time, but also reflects the sounds and moods of the music surrounding me as I take them. I wouldn’t waste my time watching a great band through the lens of my camera when I could see them with my own eyes unless I was trying to add an extra element to the photos I take of them, a further expression of the music I hear, visualised in an image.
I like to capture people trailing away and melting into their own sounds.
