First of all, I am a Christian. Jesus Christ is the reason for my existence. If it wasn't for Him my life would be void and pointless. I have two amazing daughters, Amber & Amanda, who make my life complete. Amber - you are such an inspiration to me. You stand strong for your beliefs and you are a strength for your friends. I am so proud of you for the woman you are becoming! I know people say we're just alike and I don't know about all that. But you are smart, confident, funny, beautiful, and an overall joy to be around. You know you have to call me every day when you go to college or I'm moving out there - lol! Amanda - you have brought me so much happiness!!! You have the most sensitive and wonderful heart of anyone I know. You are so smart, talented, and beautiful. You don't know the treasures that you hold - don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise! You keep things exciting & fun. I am so proud of you. Our house is crazy, but I love it - something new everyday! I grew up in a small town in Iowa in the middle of nowhere, which caused me to become very creative (some people would say crazy). But I had a great childhood, a great brother & two loving parents. I wouldn't change it for the world. I am internally driven and motivated. I love to laugh. I am reflective, analytical & honest. Sometimes I come across as cold or tough, but really I am very soft-hearted and kind. I love kids of all ages and am blessed to have a job where I get to help kids. I talk to myself all the time (and sometimes answer - call the shrink)! I am always up for something fun, as long as it doesn't entail a lot of running or hiking (yuck)! I have some of the best friends in the world: Nicki - girl we go way back & I wouldn't trade those memories or our friendship for the world - you know I'm here for ya! Tangi - we have a bond that can't be broken, no matter how many years come & go...you're the sister I never had....love you! Tabitha - who knew the babysitter would become my best friend? You balance me with your calm demeanor and your merciful spirit. We really must drink hot chocolate, eat cookies & watch movies soon! Eugene - you always shoot it straight & make me laugh. We could strangle each other half the time, but that's what makes it interesting - lol. You mean the world to me! Tommy & Sherri - the beach & campsites sure would have been lonely without y'all the past several years! I love your calm, sensible way of dealing with things - it keeps me focused. And you truly love God & always bring it back home - thanks! And to my "lost" friend Christa - girl, we've had our ups & downs but I've always viewed you as part of my "close circle" - don't you feel privileged? - lol. You have so much potential and such a sweet spirit. You inspire me. And lastly, to Adam - we grew up together, discovered love together, created a family together & have had some wonderful memories...I wouldn't trade them or the love we shared for the world. No matter what happens, I am here for you. I only hope through the years our friendship will grow stronger. To the Thomasville Youth Group - you guys rock!!! There are too many people to list that I love who make me who I am. But life is all about relationships - a person is known by the company they keep & how well they keep it!!!
