The Grease Brothers Band

About Me

Actually, the name Grease Brothers goes back several years (and several more after that) when some guys got together to promote free concerts on local parks. It became a band in the 70's (with Phil Anaya, Mattie Figueroa-Mills, Danny Vanak, Rusty Griffin and Mark Hutchinson), disapeared for several decades, and now brought back to life. . . . . . . . . . / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /The (new and approved) Grease Brothers started out with a CD by band members Phil Anaya and Rusty Griffin (released in 2008) and ended up as a live show band, featuring the return of Danny Vanak on drums and vocals, and a lost tribe member by the name of Dan Postelle on guitar and vocals. Doing what they can do, the four had their first live gig on April 3rd, 2009. Danny, Rusty and Phil have been with "The Apologies" and "SaddleTramp"and with the addition of Dan (most recently with "Into Focus"), a different texture has been created for these boys of The West........................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ....................... The CD was Produced by The Grease Brothers, and Mixed and Mastered by Josh Harrison in Pacific Beach, CA at "Shirley's Condo" and Tucson, AZ. Helping on drums was Doc Machinno, and on trumpet by Don Werley. The Brothers thank JT The Brick and Fox Radio for the "spin" of two cuts off the CD.......................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ..........and thats just the way it has to be. The Brothers wish Peace to All......................................................... .............. and "yes", a second CD is on its way......................................................... ....................bodyhref="http://i238.photobucket.com/al bums/ff175/greasebrothers/Collage6.jpg" target="_blank">
