Skyklang presents - THE SUPER RYDEEN MACHINE! Performing the music of Japan's Technopop legends Yellow Magic Orchestra. Get ready for a whitey blast of Jap Fusion! Formed in 1978, YMO consisted members Haruomi Hosono, Yukihiro Takahashi and Ryuichi Sakamoto who fused cutting edge technology and Oriental Exotica.
In the Super Rydeen Machine will be Japrock guru's Shags (Ryuichi Shagsumoto) on synths, Danielsan (Harry Danielsono) on synth bass and film maker extraordinaire Lachlan Dickie (Dickihiro Lachahashi) on Drums. Melbourne audio painter Matthew Brown (Hideki Mattbrownsutaki) will be on sound generations and Sophie Brous (Sophiko Yano) will add a little 'La Femme Chinoise' with extra synth and vocals
Super Rydeen Machine plays at 9 and is then followed by Fabulous Diamonds and My Disco, capping off a wonderful NYE 08' at The Toff in Town.
