I was born and raised in Los Angeles. To satisfy my drive to be a mix of the creative and the intellectual I studied Spanish at UC Berkeley, while I was concurrently a singer/songwriter with music released in Asia. When I was 22 I decided to be a physician, and attended medical school at USC. I received my doctorate in 2003 and I now work in the Pathology department at USC Medical Center. I still play piano, sing and write music all the time...it is one of my greatest personal pleasures. Yes, the song on my page is mine. Check out more of my music at www.myspace.com/jackshorr.
