The Fellatiator

Here lies one who meant well, tried a little, failed much - surely that may be his epitaph, of which

About Me

myspace graphics & layouts Well, I'm a student at the U of U, been so for the last few years. I study an unusual major, it's a Pre-Med Physics focus. Strange I know, but I enjoy it. I just started a new job at the University Hospital here. I try to travel, get out of town at least once or twice a year, maybe even over seas. I dig talking about things and learning things. Mostly I just relish those odd moments of quiet.

My Interests

I like history, science, shizz like that. I'm really an academian at heart. I think it's one of the few things I've been very good at. I enjoy good books and movies, usually something with some pathos and wit. Also I enjoy just about anything that goes well with a nice bottle of white wine. :)

I'd like to meet:

The man who sold the world ;)

Music:

Music tastes are pretty eclectic. Fair amount of punk and rock, oldies, classical, rap and hip hop, some pop, just about everything. More and more Jazz. I'm also learning to play the trumpet, but I doubt anything that I produce could be considered music.

Movies:

I gravitate away from the main stream. I like indie flicks and good documentaries, though its hard to say no to a real knee slapper or a good drama. Everybody needs a cry now and then, after all...

Television:

Blah, television is generally not my cup o' tea, but I've started watching the HBO series about John Adams and I'm digging it so far.

Books:

School has started and so yet again my reading habits are dictated by my studies. Not that I particularly dislike it, but textbooks aren't quite the page turners that I would have hoped. This time it's Physics of the Human Body II and Linear Algebra. Zany! I am getting to sneak in a few peaks of Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson, whicn I am digging.

Heroes:

Ghandi - I admire him greatly for his courage and clarity and determination toward something that held no benefit for him though he knew it to be right. Schrodinger, Einstein, Feynman and many, many others whose work and insight dazzles and amazes me and inspires me to learn.

My Blog

Sunshine and lollipops

I would never say I am particularly responsible, active or even informed, politically speaking, and my cynical nature and general hopelessness tends to preclude me from even the simplest demonstration...

Fog of War

No poetry this time kiddies.  Contained below are several quotes and excerpts from the 2004 documentary The Fog of War.  It is a very intimate, educated and blunt interview with the former S...

A new poem

For all my adoring fans... Here is a little poem I wrote a few days ago. I was meandering around my room, shit-faced, and it sort of popped into my head. I decided to punch it out while it was stil...
