THE COMRADES

The Comrades formed in early October of 2006 out of the tumultuous and wounded punk rock scene of southern California. Although the Comrades are a fresh band only a year and a half old, the boys are no strangers to the competitive music scene. Collins, ex-front man of the punk rock group The Pillz, has been playing shows for 14 years+. Hamill, front man of the Comrades band, got his experience playing with bands like Euclid street and The Crime. With the help of Lopez, who has played with numerous new school punk and thrash-core bands, The Comrades were formed. The Comrades’ hard hitting punk ‘n’ roll sound ascends from Hamill’s abrasive vocal tone/Johnny Ramone guitar playing, Collins’ dysfunctional youth mentality, and Lopez’s fresh and unique drum playing. Together with new bass guitar player Uhrich, The Comrades are a energetic and exciting band. This energy and excitement is not only captured in their live performance, but also in their debut E. P. ..Now All Together recorded by producer/engineer Jerry Adomowicz who as worked with countless so-Cal rock ‘n’ roll bands such as Die Hunns and US Bombs. With influences spanning from the early 1970’s New York punk scene to today's new generation rock ‘n’ roll, Comrades shows and rare recordings are a few things YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS!!!!!!!
