Antique Imp

'Ready your grins to the sky,' the imp says

About Me

Deep in the darkest depths of Danny's bedroom, one cold year when the boy couldn't drive, nor could he sing, nor could he carve furniture from blocks of wood, Antique Imp was born. Some say the imp is an avatar of the early 20th century, the spirit of Da da in the flesh. Others say he's nothing more than a nut case, a buzz-buzzing fly to be ignored or swatted or pummeled to the ground. Others say he's a dream. When asked directly as to the contents of the imp's origin, Danny was heard to reply, "I take my tea with sugar, and sometimes cinnamon." That was all.So perhaps no one will ever know. Perhaps this knowledge is not meant to be held by anyone--not in this dimension at the very least. Or perhaps the imp is only waiting, only biding his time, before he reveals himself before the whole world, naked and glimmering green for all eyes to see. Just waiting, strumming his soft acoustic melodies like clouds which drift against the sky, tossing grins up and around and catching them in jars.
