TJFX Has Been involved in Electronic Dance music for over 12 years. Even before that, he was always intrigued by bands like MINISTRY, Nine Inch Nails, and White zombie and then became influenced by the likes of Massive Attack, Aphex Twin,The Crystal Method ,The Chemical Brothers and Prodigy. Entering High School, he started going to Local events thrown by the likes of Netwerk 1, Rhythm Alliance and Volume. Not long after that, He started expanding his knowledge of the music and culture Eventually going to parties in Philly, NYC, New Jersey and Maryland. Mostly a spectator, he saw Performances from the likes Of Frankie Bones, Jeff Mills, Atomic Babies and Icey to Nostrum, Skylab 2000 and CIRRUS among so many more.That feeling of crowd control and unity that these performers conveyed was something that he desired.AS time went on and he moved away from the scene due to a few life Curveballs,He started back to a spectator role once again and took a more serious look at the MUSIC and what it meant to him. Always a fan of Breakbeat, TJFX came to the realization that this was it. Breaks were his thing. Mixing wide varieties and style of Breaks and Electro, he does not like to be tied down to one specific sound. If he thinks its Bangin...He'll throw it down. Up and coming now, TJFX takes great pride his mixing skills and track selection, playing only what he feels would stimulate the crowd. His sets are crafted to stimulate minds and bring them to many places but down. He's Ready to destroy dancefloors everywhere and purvey his sound of all types of Breaks, whether Techy, Funky, Dark, Psychadelic, tear out, etc.. Since coming back to Djing and the scene in March 2008 with DTD Productions Led by Marcus Christian(Rhode Island based Dj/ Producer), He has already played events with the like of The Freestylers, Skylab 2000, Heather Heart, Atomic Babies,Dara,TJR, Havok, X-Dream, Udachi, The Bermudez Bros., Farace, DNS(Drew Down & Sonic B),Jen Mas, Venom, Punisher, Steve Porter, Eli Wilkie, Hush & Bons, Kares, Dj Melee, Bryan Cox. In November of 2008, TJFX joined The highly acclaimed group SNEAKER & THE DRYER ( now Sneaker & The Dryer v3.0).SNEAKER & THE DRYER are a duo that has rocked dancefloors for years both nationally and internationally. With founding member Dj BTZ, TJFX and Dj BTZ along with playing all over New England and beyond, they also hold down a Weekly radio show on NSB Radio out of England slinging a Nasty 4 table 2 mixer set with effects/sampling that will leave jaws droppin and feet moving!! Most Recently, The duo has been added to the BadBwoy Bass Records Roster, a fast rising stateside label with multiple features and top 10's on Beatport receiving acclaim from some of the biggest names in the biz...expect releases in 2009.
